Meet The Staff

Will grew up in Pahrump, NV until his junior year of high school and then moved to Grand Island, NE. He was introduced to golf by his parents around 4 years old. He took his first lesson about 12 years old and that’s when he knew he wanted to be in the golf business.

Will has over 10 years of experience in the golf industry, working his way up from outside services to general manager. His passion in the industry is in instruction where he has multiple mentors that are top teachers in the business. Will utilizes his wide array of experiences and dedication to his craft to provide a high-level golf experience for members, their families, and their guests.

Owen has been the Rivers Edge Course Superintendent since 2017. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Horticulture and Golf Course Management at Northeast CC. He loves working outside and being out in nature and enjoying the wildlife. "Early morning on a golf course is hard to beat" he often says.

Owen was born and raised in West Point, Nebraska and grew up playing golf at Indian Trails Country Club in Beemer. He started working at Elkhorn Acres in Stanton while going to college at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. After college, Owen and his wife Carmen moved to Sulphur Springs, Texas where he worked at The Links at Land’s End, then Lake Fork Golf Club as superintendent for two years, and The Cliffs Resort for two years. Carmen and Owen have been married for 20+ years, and they have two sons, Austin, 10, and Ryder, 7, who are aspiring golfers in their own right.
